Remember that the Supreme Court now considers a bribe to be a "gratuity", which is another word for "tip". In other words, now that bribes are legal, Project 2025 wants to make them tax-exempt as well.

The outcome of that 2025 policy is based on flawed logic. That project would push a huge swath of Americans into poverty...most notably the very same Trump supporters. The middle class would shrink even more. Project 2025 would by design create economic slavery.
Probably because this has nothing to do with Trump, it was made by an entirely different group of people, and Trump has discredited it and rejected it many times already. Probably should do your own research and look at his actual plans which are found on his campaign website, which if I remember correctly Harris hasn't posted anything yet or said anything to the media in almost 2 weeks.

I used to get a federal tax refund of $1200 to $1300 until the 2017 tax cuts. Then my 2018 federal tax refund was $600 to $700 my wage do not change and W2 withholding tax do not change. I like thank the President Trump and Republican party in 2017 for screwing me and other Americans who not millionaires by raising taxes on low to middle income earners.

I'm a veteran and no that will not happen. Did you read Project 2025? Department of Veterans Affair pg 641 and the author Brooks D Tucker. Please let me know where in the chapter they discuss about taking away disability and retirement from veterans. Veterans are already receiving healthcare services outside the VA hospital called the Veterans Community Care Program.Which was established under the VA Mission Act 2018.

I believe Project 2025 is being used as a strategy to publicly promote extreme and unrealistic policies because this could be an attempt to highlight what the Heritage Foundation see as the Democratic Party's true agenda of increasing government control. I saw something similar. It's like every candidate has a different approach to taxes, and depending on who wins, it could mean big changes for all of us. I'm not sure what to expect.
It's pretty concerning. If taxes go up, it's going to hit a lot of people hard, especially those of us who are just getting by. I'm already feeling the pinch with inflation and everything else going up.
The thing is, we're already paying a lot in taxes. If Harris pushes through some of the proposals l've heard about, we could be looking at higher rates across the board. It might be time to rethink how we're handling our finances.
That's what I'm worried about too. My husband and I have been trying to save for our kids' college funds, but if our taxes go up, we might have to dip into those savings just to keep up with the cost of living.

Good for you. There are several things to be afraid about should Trump be re-elected. His intent to deport undocumented immigrants would impact millions of biracial families for example and when is it a good thing to destroy families? When there is blame that some family members illegally crossed a border as a child (that used to be Mexico?) over 30 years ago? We need to rethink our racism. Many of the vegetables you see in every grocery store in your town were harvested by a population of undocumented workers who keep our system alive paying taxes without ever receiving the benefits citizens have. That doesn’t make them less of people. They are harder working than most Americans. They work the most dangerous jobs and settle for mistreatment and abuse because of this system. But I bet you believe that Americans want to work in poultry slaughterhouses for 12 hour shifts? Real work is something to take pride in and every undocumented person I met helped get food on your table that you shared with your family. That is something to be grateful for. They are humans who deserve a solution.

I think what is worse is that the majority of voters for him seem quite unwilling to educate themselves about history.
